Title: Business Development Manager

Cooling Source is a vertically integrated company engaged in the design,
development, and manufacturing of electronic cooling devices. The Company is
structured into three divisions on the basis of product line offering as follows: Heat
Sink, Designs & Value Added Thermal Assemblies.

Relationship: Reports to the VP of Sales, North America.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.

Work

Experience: Level 1
Entry-level position for an individual with (1-3) year’s sales related work experience
and aptitude for Company products and markets.

Level 2
The intermediate level position requires (3-5) years of field selling experience and
knowledge of Company markets and customers. Must possess a proven track record
of sales growth in the position. Individuals must demonstrate potential relative to
value selling principles.

Level 3
The experienced level position which requires a minimum of (7) years’ field sales
experience and a thorough understanding of Company markets and customers. This
individual must have a consistent track record of sales growth and has demonstrated
upward mobility in the position. Individuals must possess the ability to establish and
maintain high-level relationships within customers’ organizations. Individuals must be
able to develop and execute value-based selling tactical plans.

Principal Area of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for managing all facets of the sales process
within his or her associated territory. The individual is responsible for establishing
business relationships with customers consistent with company goals and objectives.
Individual must be capable of managing and motivating Manufacturer
Representatives to sell products on both a direct basis and through assigned
channels.

Specific Duties:
• Promote and sell multiple product lines from multiple business units;
• Responsible for meeting assigned sales revenue targets;
• Provide product training to converters and representatives;
• Execute customer visits and presentations;
• Coordinate the qualification on new customers and projects.
• Capture “print position” at the design-in authority;
• Coordinate strategic and focus account plan initiatives.
• Provide intelligence relative to new products & applications;
• Facilitate closure to contracts and price agreements;
• Execute strategic and value selling methods;
• Coordinate the global communication and coordination of projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources when applicable;
• Execute early design engagement at the demand creation site;
• Manage the assigned Distribution sales channel;
• Manage the assigned Converter/Fabricator sales channel;
• Manage the territory Manufactures Representatives;
• Assist in market and customer intelligence gathering;
• Participate in territory revenue forecasting;
• Provide meaningful and timely reporting
